I can't take this anymore. I've thrown in the towel. Power Button TV is DEAD.
I have a bunch of reasons for ending this thing.
1) Game reviewing is pretty much dead. I originally created this network so the backbone of the network's content can get some exposure. Unfortunately, most of the contributors have either quit or rarely update anymore, or have moved on to other topics (rants, comics, whatever). Please remember that I created this network during AVGN's heyday (back in 2007) and before people like That Guy With the Glasses became uber-popular, with its fanbase creating branch networks that have far trumped this miniscule corner of the Internet.
2) Mogulus/Livestream is a pain in the ass. For three grueling years, Livestream has become a burden to update. Sure, one could probably excuse the site in its beta days, but their tech team has spent more time adding features than fixing bugs. Videos would take more time to process than...pretty much any other site that would convert videos to Flash. Videos would suddenly corrupt over time for no reason, or even disappear without my noticing. Sometimes, videos would upload, but never process, or simply fail while uploading. After three years of attempting to expand their business, this is inexcusable.
3) I just don't care anymore. I think the signs were pretty obvious since about late 2008. Over time, I've updated less and less, and now I don't have time for this at all. I have a life to look forward to, and I can't bother wasting countless hours of it away just waiting for a bunch of 40MB videos to upload (yes, I'm serious; they're usually THAT small of a file size).
So that's it. It's dead.
